2nd edition · SWWICE2025 Germany
Sustainable Wholistic Wellness Workplace
The series' first edition in Europe set its focus on wellness practices within the workplace.
Why the workplace
People are the highest cost, and the least looked after
The World Health Organization estimated on 2 September 2024 that 12 billion working days are lost every year to depression and anxiety, costing the global economy US$1 trillion in lost productivity.
Many companies build sustainability into their business, but few apply sustainable wellness practices to their own people. SWWICE2025 Germany brought participants together to integrate the 10 Sustainable Wholistic Wellness Pillars into modern workplaces.
The recap
Ten pillars, tied into one loop
At the official launch, each invited speaker tied their pillar's flag to the next, until the Soul Pillar was tied to the Environment Pillar, closing the loop: a symbol of all ten wellness aspects working together in a sustainable workplace.
Speakers and supporters included Grandmaster Dr Jes TY Lim, CISW Thailand Chairman Mr Jacky Ong (virtually), Mrs Vun Wey Tyng, Mr Günter Conrad, Tourism Malaysia and its Frankfurt office, and a Malaysian delegation of practitioners and exhibitors.
